PERSPECTIVE
I’m a creative lead working across events, brand experiences, campaigns and design, creating ideas that people can see, feel and experience.
Over the last 10 years, I’ve worked with global brands across sport, hospitality, travel, food, finance and corporate, including DHL, Manchester United, Wingstop, Rangers FC and more. I’ve led creative across global events, sponsorship campaigns and experiential activations, from the first conversation through to opening night.
I’m most interested in the briefs without obvious answers. The ones where the audience still needs uncovering, the idea is still taking shape and the opportunity sits somewhere between strategy, design and making things happen.
There’s no fixed formula. Every brief needs a different solution. I like finding that answer and getting involved in the process, whether that means developing the big idea, directing a scenic build, designing a campaign, shaping motion or holding the camera on a shoot.
My background in Product Design taught me to think beyond the screen. Movement, scale, material, atmosphere and interaction are just as important to me as typography, colour and composition. That perspective naturally led me towards experiential work, where an idea has to exist in the real world and work at scale.
As a creative lead, I enjoy bringing people together around an idea. Working with designers, producers, strategists, clients and suppliers to challenge, refine and ultimately make something better. I don’t see creative direction as simply having the answer, it’s about creating the conditions for the right answer to emerge and then protecting it through delivery.
I start by understanding who we’re creating for and what we need them to feel, think or do. From there, I build a creative story that can carry through the entire experience. From the first digital touchpoint to the physical environment, live show and everything in between.
I believe the strongest experiences happen when creative and production work together from the beginning. An idea should be ambitious, but it also needs to be deliverable, adaptable and considered from every angle.
Ultimately, I like making things. Finding the idea, building the world around it and seeing it come to life in front of people.
No fixed formula. Every brief needs a different solution.
